M.A.D Records chiefs Make A Dance kick off what promises to be a busy 2026 with the launch of a new vinyl-only series aimed squarely at DJs. As the title suggests, the series serves as an outlet for dancefloor-focused tracks inspired by dub, reggae and soundsystem culture.
Leading the charge, A-side “Me Wanna C U” is a nostalgic, high-energy breakbeat house roller packed with sound system bleeps, cavernous sub-bass and echo-drenched spoken word snippets. On the flip, the duo lean deeper into their love of classic digi-dub with “Dub Wise Fashun”, a skanking, head-nodding cut where soulful patois vocals ride above a heavyweight rhythm reminiscent of vintage Mad Professor productions.
