The first solo album from George Evelyn, aka Nightmares on Wax, Warp's longest serving artist. From the gorgeous opener 'Nights Introlude' it's truly a milestone in trip-hop history. Soul samples soar over shuffling percussion, piano melodies and Rhodes keys intertwining in blissful fashion. 'Stars' is a lengthy highlight, while 'Groove St.' takes the tempo up a notch without ever losing that funk. The fascinating cover art is almost as exciting as the music, taking the album upwards, a rich tapestry on every level.
