Welcome aboard and set sail with Boat Shoes

An afternoon of yacht rock and funky AOR miscellany, on the green at the Balmoral Bowling Club.

Yacht rock is a genre that loved to ride like the wind, to keep it smooth and melodic, ensure there was a wine-cooler on ice in the 48 track studio, and blended elements of pop, jazz and disco production to make music magic. No static at all.

We break out the lawn bowls at 3, continuing until 7, with DJs Dusty Crates, Apera (BaseFM’s the Boil Up), Kirk James and Jubt (95bFM’s the Swap Meet), and special guests Alan Perrot (the House of Bamboo), and Liam Dann.
